OUR STORY
Designed by a woman who needed it.
LadyTail™ began with one mother, three daughters, and a problem nobody wanted to talk about.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Tiyah Isom-Morris
CEO, The Covered Brand LLC and founder of Pink Confidence Corp
Tiyah is a mother of three daughters, based in Tallahassee, Florida. She invented LadyTail™ after living with endometriosis undiagnosed for decades — and she built Pink Confidence Corp so that students in her own county would not go without the products she needed and never had.
IN HER WORDS
“I wanted them to have a comfort towel that would make them feel confident and clean.”
My menstrual cycles were terrible growing up. I'd miss 3 days of school at home with severe cramps, nausea and weakness. By day 3 I looked like a ghost with all color out of my face, dry lips from vomiting and my hair standing up on my head from rolling back and forth trying to soothe myself from the pain.
Along with a tampon or pad I'd sleep on a bulky bath towel that would move during the night, and in the morning I'd find the towel bunched up under my back, moved out of place, or even on the floor next to my bed.
I wasn't diagnosed with endometriosis until I found myself 35 years old needing a hysterectomy. I'd birthed 3 daughters by then, and I knew someday they would start to menstruate. I wanted to give them a towel to help keep their bedding clean and dry during sleep, but also something they could feel comfortable and confident using on those heavier cycle days.
As for mamma, I used LadyTail™ during playtime with dad ;)

WHAT WE MADE
A towel that stays exactly where you put it.
The patent pending LadyTail™ is a 33" microfiber towel cut into a wave-like tail that covers the center of any backside. The towel ties to the body with a satin belt and can be tucked between the legs to stay in place. Or use the proprietary covered loop at the end of the tail: tie the towel to the body, feed the satin belt through the loop, and tie again — giving the towel a secure fit that guarantees placement.
A heart-shaped, dry-wick, leak-proof, lead and dye free panel is sewn into the middle to avoid leaks.
